I've received a lot of positive feedback about the coupon workshop, and I'm so glad that you enjoyed it and you're beginning to work on collecting your coupons and getting them organized so they will begin to work for you. This really becomes a hobby that pays off big time.
I wanted to share with you a favorite site that I frequent and I know once you understand how Target works you will like it too. You can stack a Target store coupon with a manufacturer coupon at Target just like Publix - they do not take competitors coupons. You can make overages at Target but they won't give you cash back, so if your coupon value is higher than the item you're purchasing you want to purchase something else with that overage. You will catch on to this as time goes on - this is a learning process and you will get better each time you shop.
Now on to the site - www.totallytarget.com. Go check it out and click all the buttons and you will be amazed at what you can save there. One thing you have to really pay attention to is when you're checking out and you're giving them your coupons, give them to the cashier one at a time - sometimes they want them all up front - but as they're taking the coupons make sure your correct coupon amount shows up. I do this even at Publix. Most of the time everything works out good, but sometimes there is a glitch - just smile and be nice and they will treat you right.
To print Target coupons go to www.target.com and scroll down and you will see on the left side a shopping cart and it says coupon savings - click on that and it will take you to all the coupons. Printing is easy and you normally can print them twice - but you have to click on the "back to coupons" button and go in and select the coupons you want to print again. Sometimes you may not get to print twice and that's because they may only allow 1,000 prints for a certain coupon and if you're the 1000th person to print that coupon then when you go back to print it again it will have disappeared from the selections. It took me a long time to figure that out, I thought I was doing something wrong.
One thing I want to bring to your attention off of today's posting at TotallyTarget is the coupon for $3/1 Glade Lasting Impression product. When you click on the blue link it takes you to a site named Right at Home and asks you to sign up for the coupon. Don't be afraid to sign up here - this is a site that sends you all kinds of things for signing up. I've received free products, tons of coupons, free samples, etc. You never know when they're coming, they just show up in the mail. Sometimes it's coupons for free products. So sign up and watch for goodies to start coming to you. By the way, save the coupon - we normally have great sales and can get these starter kits almost free. So print the coupons, hold on to them for the sales. That's the way you play this game.
One more thing and I'll sign off for tonight. There should be two coupon inserts in this Sunday's paper - SmartSource and RedPlum. Hope you've got at least two papers coming for those BOGO sales! Let me know if you still need discounted newspapers and I will have Chris get in touch with you.
Happy Shopping!
Vicki
